WUSD Tech Handbook :: A+ Learning System
A+ Learning System: The A+ Learning System is core curriculum instructional software based on standards. There are over 130 complete courses available to K-12 students in the district. The core subject areas are available at every grade level, although not all schools have access to kindergarten content.
  Step 1. Location: Open up the Educational Software folder located on the desktop and find the A+ icon. Students will be able to access A+ in the same location.
  Step 2. Login and Password: The individual who administrates the A+ system in your school will be able to create a teacher login that will enable you to use the A+ system.
  Step 3. Get Training: Each school has a different plan for training teachers to use A+. Inquire with your principal as to when and how training will be provided at your school. Periodically, the A+ representative provides training within the district.

  Step 4. Determining Uses: The next step will be to determine how you would like to use A+ :

• As individual remediation or individual instruction for gifted students.
• As a station for student work.
• As a tool for whole group instruction projected on your whiteboard.
• As a tool for home-based instruction.


  Step 5. Finding Answers:
To find help find answers to specific questions about A+ you can use the A+ manual mentioned above or the comprehensive A+ Information Library


 
1. Login to the Information Library by using
E-Mail Address: wusd123@wusd.us
Password: wusd123

2. Select the program: A+nyWhere Learning System (ver 3.x)
Select the OS: Windows/Novell/Linux
Select the Area of Interest you want
(example: How to use the program)
Type in a search keyword
(example: add assignment) and click the Search button

3. Browse the search results in the Information Library
Click on the title to view the answer.
(example: 30047 Creating a New Assignment List)

4. The answer to your question appears as a list of easy to follow step-by-step directions.
