IDEAL: IDEAL is a single access point for educational resources for Arizona teachers. It provides access to professional development, standards based curriculum resources, collaborative tools, and school improvement resources.
 
Step 1.
Setting up Password:

To set up your login and password, go to the ideal website:
http://www.ideal.azed.gov

Click on the Sign Up button and follow the onscreen instructions.

  Step 2. Curriculum
Resources:
These are two popular and useful curriculum resources available by clicking on the Curriculum Resources section of IDEAL.
     
Discovery Education Streaming:
Access to the number one source of nonfiction videos in the world. 45,422 video segments available for streaming or download to your computer for later use in your classroom.
     
Thinkfinity:
Website which provides many services for educators, but most notable are the searchable lesson plan database of 6000+ standards-based lesson plans from leading educational organizations and the collection of online student interactive games and tools.
     
Other Resources:
Learning Resource Manager, Recipes4Success, AIMS for Educators, ITunesU, Formative Assessment, ELA Resources
  Step 3. Professional Development: Use the Course Catalog in the Professional Development section of the IDEAL to search through the IDEAL online courses available through IDEAL/ASU and the AZ Department of Education. Some of these courses are offered free, and some have a small free.
