WUSD Tech Handbook :: Gaggle
Gaggle Student Email:

Gaggle is student email software used by WUSD that filters email and other communications for inappropriate words and pictures. Student accounts are accessible by teachers. The following Gaggle options are currently enabled and working:

• Student Email Accounts
• Message Boards
• Student Blogs

(The Chat and Digital Locker functions are not currently available)

WUSD Gaggle email is accessed at http://mail.wusdstudent.us or from the student Internet Explorer home page.

Step 1.
Express Interest: If you would like to use student email in your classroom you will need to send a short email to Bruce Goode (bgoode@wusd.us) expressing your interest.
There is also a course on the WUSD Online Learning site entitled Using WUSD Student Email
  Step 2. Become the Administrator:
Once your student email accounts have been set up with you as the administrator you will have access to be able to view your students' mailboxes. You will also receive any email a student attempts to send, but is blocked by the Gaggle email system.
  Step 3. Manage Your Classes Email Once your class is set up you will be responsible for managing your students. Students email logins and passwords will be exactly the same as their WUSD logins and passwords that are present in the active directory program located in your programs folder. All student email addresses follow the following format: username@wusdstudent.us
