| Discovery Education Streaming: | Discovery Education’s multimedia library is available for use in your classroom. All you need is a computer connected to a projector or access to a computer lab where your students can view the videos. Discovery Education gives you access to 45,000 Discovery Education Video Segments and over 116,000 media resources. There are two options for accessing Discovery Education Streaming | |

| Option 1. |
IDEAL | Login to IDEAL (www.ideal.azed.gov) and click on the Discovery Streaming Link. IDEAL will automatically log you into Discovery Streaming. | |||||
| Option 2. | Register at Discovery Education Streaming | ![]() |

| Step 1. | Direct your Internet Browser
to http://www.discoveryeducation.com/ and click on the blue tab labeled Passcode/New User |

| Step 2. | Enter in the Passcode for your school and click

| Step 3. | Fill in the information under the tite Passcode/Trial/New User Registration and click the submit button at the bottom of the page. Note: Discovery will not accept a simple password such as password or pass. |

| Getting Started | Search for a Video | Now you can search for the material you need
for your class by using the search terms on the screen or typing in your
request in the search box. Note: Once you select a subject and grade
you will be given options to continue narrowing your topic. (In the
example I chose 9-12 , Math, and then Algebra, and ended up with the
subjects on the far right) |

| Choose the Download Type | When you have chosen the full video or video
segment you want for your class then you will click on download type to
choose the type of video file you want to download the video as: As a
general rule you can use Windows Media.
Note: If you have a Dell D620 laptop choose Flash Video instead. |

| Download the Video to your Computer | Download the video it to your document folder by clicking on the download icon next to the name of the video. Now you can play it back for your class without worrying about the speed of the internet connection. | ||||||
