The program follows a 4-course sequence, which is articulated with Northland Pioneer College, allowing the students to earn post-secondary credit while in high school.

Business Management Basics: a one term course for freshmen focused on introducing basic business concepts.

Business Management II: a semester long course for Sophomores where students learn more about college portion of the program and study business basics in a more in-depth format.

Business Management III: a year long course for Juniors.  At least 51% of students' time is spent on working with the print shop and operating it as a business.  The rest of the curriculum is taught through partnership with Northland Pioneer College.  Students earn college credit.

Business Management IV: a year long course for Seniors.  At least 51% of students' time is spent on working with the print shop and operating it as a business.  The rest of the curriculum is taught through partnership with Northland Pioneer College.  Students earn college credit.

Business Operations and the Alchesay Print Shop

Business Management is a  Career and Technical Education program providing students with the academic knowledge and essential skills needed to work in the business world.

The Business Management instructional program prepares students to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization. Students who successfully complete the Business Management program’s coherent sequence of instruction will develop an in-depth understanding of the business and financial management practices needed for large and small enterprises

Students in the Business program receive dual enrollment college credits from Northland Pioneer College with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship Fundamentals Upon completion of the four year program, and 24 college credits, students receive a Certificate of Proficiency from Northland Pioneer College.
