Welcome Falcons!  Here you will find guides and answers to questions.  Look through the guides below and ask questions in the survey if you don't find what you need. Use the survey on the right side of this page if there is something you would like an answer to that you don't see here.
  • This is a common problem that students face.  Find the power button on the right side of the laptop.  Hold it down for about 30 seconds (it will feel like forever).  The laptop will turn off along with the power light.  Then it will wait for a bit and turn on again.  Once the screen lights up again, you can remove your finger.

    This resets any saved cookies or other internet settings.  It should fix the problem with Farm 2.  If this does not fix the laptop, please report the issue to your teacher right away so that he or she can send it to the school IT person for repair.

  • Unfortunately, student laptops do not work on any Wifi network but the one at school.  The laptop would not work from home for you to finish work on.  You can check out a laptop from Ms. Sigman during the school day if needed.  You can also use a laptop during tutoring or in the library at lunch.  Any of these is a good way to get late work done or to be able to apply for colleges.

  • Some laptops are slower than others because of how much they have been used.  If yours is slow or is disconnecting from the internet, one way you can fix this is to force it to find another Access Point to the school network.  Restart the laptop one of two ways:

    1. Hold down the power button on the right side of the laptop until the light turns off and then comes back on again.  It will feel like forever.  It is a quick way to reset the device.
    2. Click the windows icon at the bottom of the screen , click the power icon  and choose "Restart".

    When you log in again, things should be faster because your computer has found a different connection to the network.

  • Your email can be found in the online version of microsoft outlook.  Here are the steps:

    1. Open google chrome: 
    2. Click on the address bar and type "office.com": 
    3. Click Sign In:
    4. Your login information is your clever/AD username (firstname.lastname@wusd.us) and if you can't figure out your password, please see any adult on campus for help.
    5. When asked if you want to save your login information, click "no".
    6. Click "apps" on the left side of the screen to get to word and email.  To open your email, click on "outlook".

  • What if I never picked up my ID this year?

      - Pick up your ID from Ms. Patac in the farthest portable.

    What if I did not take a picture for an ID?

      - Talk to Dr. Ngo about getting one for the school year.

  • Bloomz is the app that school staff use to communicate with parents, students and the community.  You can text and communicate with your teacher, coach or other school staff.  You also get alerts from your classes and you'll know when school is cancelled or late start.  You can get to bloomz from Clever but you also should download the app and log into it on your phone.  You can log in one of 2 ways. 

    First method: Open the app after you have downloaded it and then click the "Log in with Clever" button.  Use your wusd.us username and password.

      Second method: Get your individual sign on code from your teacher, coach or the front office (see Ms. Sigman or Joelle).  Log in to the app directly using the code.  When it asks for your username USE YOUR WUSDSTUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS.  This is very important.  Choose a password for Bloomz and log in.  Add your student phone number to your profile so that you get text messages sent to you when someone sends you a message in Bloomz.  Click here for a web page that will tell you how to log in from Bloomz on a computer.  Here is an article that tells you how to use a code to log in.

  • Your email address is your firstname.lastname@wusdstudent.us.  This is different from any of your sign ons so be specific when giving someone your email.
