Canyon Day Junior High is part of the White Mountain League, in Northern Arizona. Other schools in the White Mountain League include: Blue Ridge Junior High, Holbrook Junior High, Joseph City Junior High, Mogollon Junior High, Rim Country Middle School, Round Valley Middle School, Sanders Middle School, St. John's Middle School, Show Low Junior High, Snowflake Junior High, and Winslow Junior High. CDJH currently offers the following sports:

Canyon Day currently offers Student Council and FCCLA as official school clubs. Students who are interested in clubs should see the club advisor while at school. CDJH FCCLA falls under Alchesay High School's FCCLA and operates under the leadership of Ms. Laurel Endfield.
