Greetings Students, Families, and Community!
My name is Brianna Endfield, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director of Canyon Day Junior High School. I am pleased to be a part of the Whiteriver Unified Administrative Team and a part of Canyon Day Junior High. I am a proud 2009 graduate of Alchesay High School. I started initial employment with Whiteriver Unified in 2007 as a childcare attendant at Alchesay Beginnings while still in high school. Upon high school graduation I have had the opportunity to serve multiple roles within the district including paraprofessional and coach. After a year away, to teach elsewhere, I returned to work with Whiteriver Unified in 2014. I have spent the last 9 years as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in the Exceptional Student Services Department. I have obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northern Arizona University in Occupational Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I am currently continuing my education with NAU to obtain my second Master’s degree in American Indian School Leadership. In serving as the Assistant Principal, I am hopeful that I will help students embrace learning and opportunities that leave a lasting impact on the future of every student I encounter. I am an advocate for students and their needs and vow to do everything in my power to bring the best of educational opportunities to our students. I come from a long line of educational professionals and embrace being able to serve our people, the White Mountain Apache Tribe. The Whiteriver Unified School District is like home to me and my family. You will find my partner driving one of our school buses and our children attending one of our district schools. I am a firm believer in the success of all students, across all abilities. I am eager to get started in this new endeavor!
