Housing in Whiteriver USD
The Whiteriver Unified School District No. 20 has four Teacherage areas to choose from.

They include: studio apartments, 1-2 bedroom apartments, 2-3 bedroom duplexes/ triplexes, 2-3 bedroom town homes, and 3-4 bedroom mobile homes.

We are in the planning phase of additional rental units to accommodate the increased demand.

Teacherage Areas

Canyon Day
This area consists of 3 phases. Phase I consists of 2-3 bedroom duplexes,three 3-bedroom mobile homes and one 4-bedroom mobile home. Phase II consists of 2-3 bedroom duplexes. Phase III consists of 2-3 bedroom town homes. Water/sewer and solid waste are included in the monthly rent amount. Phase I tenants are responsible for propane and electricity. Phase II and III tenants are responsible for electricity.

Phase I
Current Rates SY 23-24:
  • 2-bedroom duplex: $ 185.00 month
  • 3-bedroom duplex: $ 210.00 month
  • Each unit is equipped with an electric range and refrigerator. The water heater and heater operate on propane.
Phase II
Current Rates SY 23-24:
  • 2-bedroom duplex: $ 320.00 month
  • 3-bedroom duplex: $ 360.00 month
  • Each unit is equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. These units are solely electric.
  • 2-bedroom duplex: 1445 sq/ft, 3 bedroom duplex 1539 sq/ft

  • Each unit is equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. These units are solely electric.

  • 2-bedroom tri-plex: $360.00
  • 3-bedroom duplex: $400.00
  • Each unit has a fenced in back yard.
  • Each unit is equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. These units are solely electric. Includes solar panels tied into the water heater and ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) to heat the unit.

White House Apartments
These are studio apartments with communal washers and dryers. These six apartments are housed in an old school house that was renovated in 2007. Water/sewer and solid waste are included in the monthly rental amount. Tenant is responsible for electricity.

Red Brick Apartments

These are 1 and 2 bedroom units with a washer and dryer in each unit. There are six adjacent apartments located in this housing area that enclose a common area. Water/sewer, solid waste, propane and electricity are included in the monthly rental amount.

  • 1 bedroom apartment: $ 275.00
  • 2 bedroom apartment: $ 300.00

Security and pet deposits must be paid prior to move in, renters are required to maintain renters insurance.
Security Deposit equal to one and a half month's rent, pet deposit(s) equal $125 PER pet up to a maximum of three.

Be advised that there are no current vacancies, any submitted applications will be placed on the waiting list until a vacancy occurs, anticipated vacancies are anticipated for the FY 25 school year.  Applications will be considered in order of receipt.
