    Security and pet deposits must be paid prior to move in, renters are required to maintain renters insurance.
    Security Deposit equal to one and a half month's rent, pet deposit(s) equal $125 PER pet up to a maximum of three.

    Be advised that there are no current vacancies, any submitted applications will be placed on the waiting list until a vacancy occurs, anticipated vacancies are anticipated for the FY 26 school year.  Applications will be considered in order of receipt.

Housing in Whiteriver USD

The Whiteriver Unified School District No. 20 has four Teacherage areas to choose from.
They include: studio apartments, 1-2 bedroom apartments, 2-3 bedroom duplexes/ triplexes, 2-3 bedroom town homes, and 3-4 bedroom mobile homes.

Teacherage Areas
Canyon Day
This area consists of 3 phases. Phase I consists of 2-3 bedroom duplexes,three 3-bedroom mobile homes and one 4-bedroom mobile home. Phase II consists of 2-3 bedroom duplexes. Phase III consists of 2-3 bedroom town homes. Water/sewer and solid waste are included in the monthly rent amount. Phase I tenants are responsible for propane and electricity. Phase II and III tenants are responsible for electricity.

  • 2-bedroom duplex: $ 185.00 month
  • 3-bedroom duplex: $ 210.00 month
  • Each unit is equipped with an electric range and refrigerator. The water heater and heater operate on propane.
