Pierre comes from Belgium where he studied Business, Finance, and Economics. As a child, he enjoyed downhill skiing, judo, and tennis and he was avid to discover technology. In 1997, he married an American and settled in America. After a brief career in truck driving, he started working with WUSD in July 1999 as a technology trainer. A year later he became Network Administrator and in 1996, Director of IT. He also worked part-time for Northern Arizona University in several capacities from Distance Learning Technician to Instructor. In 2013, he also obtained an MBA. Due to the nature of his field, he is a lifelong learner.
He is very passionate in making sure that all students have access to technology to provide them with the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge they will need to be successful in life.
When he is not working for WUSD or learning new skills or exercising to compensate for many seated hours; Pierre enjoys photography and on rare occasion, downhill skiing.
