Welcome to WUSD Exceptional Student Services (ESS) Department!
It is with great pride that I welcome you to the Exceptional Student Services (ESS) Department for Whiteriver Unified School District! As the Director of ESS, I am starting my second year at Whiteriver Unified and I am looking forward to meeting each and every new family this year as well as re-connecting with our current families. Our ESS teachers are dedicated and prepared to meet the challenge head on and are prepared to deliver excellent learning opportunities for all students!
As I celebrate 15 years in education, I am grateful and humbled to be a part of the Whiteriver community. I have served as a special education teacher in multiple grade levels from preschool to high school and currently hold a National Board Certification in Special Education, Early Childhood. I am also designated an Arizona Master Teacher.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and both my Master’s from Northern Arizona University. I currently live in Show Low with my two sons and loveable dog.
