Eligibilities & Special Services
Special Education Services: Whiteriver Unified School District provides services for student who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Areas of eligibility for persons from ages 3 - 21:

- Multiple Disabilities

Related Services: Related services are those which are needed to help a child with a disability benefit from special education. Related services include transportation, speech-language pathology, and audiology services, psychological services, physical and occupational therapy, and counseling services. An IEP Team decides which related services are needed for a child to benefit from special education.
Service Delivery: Special education is not a place. The continuum of services offered by Whiteriver Unified School District may include minimal support in the general education classroom, intensive homebound instruction and many levels of services in between.
